Project: Experience Borneo

Deep in Samboja Lodge lies a beautifully located eco-lodge within an orangutan sanctuary, mainly only utilised by volunteers. There was an opportunity to offer more while spreading awareness of the importance of orangutan conservation by Borneo Orangutan Survival. Within a passionate team, ideas and hard work has now turned to reality where I’ve had the pleasure of coordinating, marketing and photographing unique retreats, all while supporting orangutans under their care 100%.

I’ve documented a wide spectrum of activities, from capturing hikes and tourist experiences to showcasing merchandise, on-location staff, and the incredible orangutans themselves. As a result, my photography can be seen across much of BOS’s media, their partners and beyond.
